Andrew J Andropolis AndyJacks - Art

Known As The Jack of Art also as Andy, Jack, Andrew & John of course. Andy was a continuous resident Door County artist since moving back to Door County in 1961 (1961-2013) near a homestead where his mother grew up. Over the years Jack had four traditional galleries and truly lived the Cherry Life! Jack & Ann owned and operated and small resort, one of Door County's most famous restaurants (Perry's Cherry Diner) and as mentioned numerous galleries. All this while raised four boys close in age on Bay Shore Drive outside Sturgeon Bay. His work may remind one of the renaissance artist. It spans a variety of styles and techniques: oils, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, pencil, metal, stained glass, clay or whatever materials he felt would work. Over time we will add numerous pieces from his estate which holds a life long eclectic body of work many of which are abstract. Watch This gallery selection grow. Jacks interest and passion for art began at a young age and stayed with him his whole life. He had 4 galleries, including a working gallery in the famous Fairfield Gallery Building in Sturgeon Bay for years and received a prestigious award from an International Art Competition in New York. His work represents contemporary art, contemporary abstract art as well as modern art. Jack was one of Door Countys longest continuous resident artists up until last year. Some of his paintings are being made available to collectors and others. High quality prints will be available for purchase. Thank you for visiting.
